Great breakfast to start the day ahead of going to Yunque Rainforest. The puerto tucán special rice and steak with eggs couldn't have tasted better. Salúd.

A 10 min wait at what seemed to be really good, smelling food taunting me the whole time. Daniel our server was very thorough and accurate. He recommended a garlic sauce that was out of this world. The pernil was so tasty, juicy and everything I could imagine. It was even better the next day as leftovers because it was just so good I had to have it again. Hehe. Shhhh I cannot forget that taste and will always try to stop by here the next time I'm back.

I will forever stand by it. This is the BEST FOOD IN SAN JUAN!!! If there was anything I could bring back home it would be this restaurant. The servers are great they all know how to handle alot of people eating at once. The prices for food in 2024 is unheard of. I hope they never change what they have going on it is truly a winning formula.Great food, great service, great prices. Every time I come to Puerto Rico I will always eat here multiple times.

I've never written a yelp review before but Bebo's deserves all the praise in the world + then some. Service was quick, everyone was very helpful (especially with our very limited Spanish), and the food was life changing! After our first dinner, we decided to scrap our plans for the next day so we could come back for lunch. Order the fried yucca with queso and you have to get tres leches for dessert!! We bebo's!!!

To get the full experience, you have to come for lunch or dinner. I thought I could beat the lunch and dinner crowd by getting the lunch and dinner food for breakfast. That didn't work because they don't have the good stuff until noon. But I will say that the breakfast and lunch are both great deals and the portions are huge. My partner and I got the queso frito and the egg, lettuce, and tomato wrap for breakfast. The queso frito was an appetizer sized for four and came with guava sauce and ketchup mayo. The queso frito was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and worked well with the sauces. The wrap was good and came with fries. The service was slow but friendly and the ambiance was casual. We went on a separate day for lunch and got the carne guisada with rice and beans and a chicken mofongo with creole sauce. The carne guisada was good but the beef could've been more tender. My partner loved his chicken mofongo though. Both dishes were also huge. Service for lunch is a little quicker but just as friendly and personable. Since I'm a small person that can't eat a lot, I felt bad not finishing my food. But this is a great place if you're on a budget, looking for local fare, and wanna get full for a long day ahead. You'll get a bang for your buck.

I found out about Bebo's Cafe from Jarrel and Jose on TikTok and I am so happy I stumbled upon their video. We went here as a family of 3 on the first night that we landed in PR and we were blown away by the service and most importantly, the food! Altogether, we had the chicken mofongo with this delectable sauce, the pork chops, rice and beans and the pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken), also with rice and beans. The mofongo wasn't dry nor was the chicken - it was all seasoned to perfection, tender and juicy. The pork chops were some of the best, if not the best, pork chops I've ever had in my life! They were bursting with flavor, perfectly crispy on the edges; the fat was rendered perfectly, juicy on the inside and just such a treat to eat. The chicken?! Amazing! That had to be one of the best grilled pieces of chicken we've ever had. Again, the flavor (how they get this food to be so full of flavor, I'll never know) was chefs kiss. 10s across the board. The drinks were also really nice. Overall, an excellent first night dining out. We enjoyed it so much, we went back a few times and the last time we went, we had the turkey which I highly recommend. Again, flavor bomb! Turkey can be really tricky because it can have a more gamey taste in comparison to chicken. Not this one - the gravy that it was served in was to die for. Not ashamed to admit that I probably could have drank it. I know every time we visit La Isla, Bebo's will be on our list to return to again and again. Do yourself the favor and get there asap for some delicious, authentic, Puerto Rican cuisine!

We went after going for a hike. Table seating is confusing- the host section is in the back of the restaurant and not very prominent. We thought it was a wait station. We had the pork chop and the chicken mofongo. The food was great, with hearty portions. If you're looking for a good meal at an economical price point, this is your place.

Bebo's Cafe in Puerto Rico is a prominent restaurant noted for its original Puerto Rican food, which includes a variety of dishes that emphasize the island's culinary heritage. The restaurant is located at 1600 Calle Loiza in San Juan's Condado neighborhood, making it a convenient choice for both residents and visitors. The menu offers popular Caribbean and Latin cuisine, such as mofongo relleno, alcapurrias, chicharrones de pollo, and sorullitos de maíz. Desserts such as guayaba with queso are also featured. Prices are extremely reasonable, with most meals ranging from $5 to $15, making it a terrific value for the quality and quantity of food. Bebo's Cafe serves a notable dish called Ropa Vieja. This traditional Puerto Rican dish is made with shredded beef, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and spices, resulting in a rich and tasty experience. The beef is soft and flavorful, and is served with side dishes like rice and beans. The dish has authentic and generous servings, making it my favorite meal. Bebo's Cafe Ropa Vieja is a must-try for anyone wishing to sample traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. The fried fish at Bebo's Cafe is fresh and delicious. I appreciate the fish's crispy exterior and tender, flavorful inside, and the flavor is well-balanced with seasoning and the portion is a generous size. It was served with traditional Puerto Rican sides, tostones and a salad, enhancing the overall dining experience. The dish is a must-try for those looking to enjoy authentic Puerto Rican seafood at reasonable prices. The staff is polite offering efficient service, and are attentive. However, the environment is fairly casual, which may not appeal to those hoping for a more premium eating experience. Overall, Bebo's Cafe is a great place to experience the flavors of Puerto Rico in a friendly, unpretentious setting. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's worth a visit for a taste of traditional Puerto Rican cuisine at an affordable price.

This cafe was near our AirBnB so we walked there for breakfast before our long day of beach hopping. It wasn't too busy in here as it was still quite early so we were able to be seated quite fast. Service was fast and despite my broken Spanish, everything came out accurately (some food allergies/restrictions in our group). There is A LOT on the menu, but I ended up ordering MANGU BEBOS. Great choice with a little bit of everything - the fried cheese was my favorite part. For the price and taste, you can't beat it. It definitely is giving diner vibes and you can't go wrong with choosing this place for breakfast. Will definitely return on my next trip.

This was a great spot for lunch. When we arrived, it was moderately packed, but thank goodness we were still seated immediately. It was a vast mixture of locals and tourists enjoying the tasty entrees in this no frills neighborhood gem. The ambiance was pretty much basic, but the food and service were quick and absolutely perfect. My lunch started with some Jumbo Calamari that was lightly breaded, very crispy and tender, and bursting with flavor. For my entree, I had the stuffed avocado with creole chicken that was seasoned to perfection. I just wish the dish came out hot and not lukewarm, but I devoured it nonetheless. ..savage, I know, but I was hungry ..Lol I would absolutely recommend giving them a try if you're looking for authentic, delicious local food.
